What is up with not using signal lights when driving????
I'm sorry... but I was just so pissed off this morning while driving on the way to school. I hate people who doesn't use their signal lights then suddenly cuts in front of you!...what an idiot!...is it that hard to click a freaking knob by your steering wheel signalling whether you're gonna be turning right or left???? If the car in front of you does that three consecutive times, then I guess he/she is just a freaking moron and better to stay away from his/her car or else you'll get a high blood pressure causing a road rage! DMV shouldn't be issuing any driving licenses to those kind of weirdos!

On the happy side, I talked to my friend and she confirmed about the ticket. I'm getting so excited that I didn't study for my test last night and barely got any sleep. She said she booked it already but we're still trying to figure out when to come back since our Spring semester for next year will start pretty early compared to some other colleges. I can't say no more but I am still holding on that this one is gonna be for reals!!!!

My friend called me asking if I wanna go out on Saturday. She's been calling all of our friends because she's all bummed out at home. She was inviting us to go to the water park. Since I am so fond of water...I definitely said "YES!"...
Early this morning, I was talking to one of our friends about the water park thingie, I remembered that I might have my monthly thingie that same day...That will suck big time because I can't enjoy it.. better yet, I can't come. The heck! I think I'll be crossing my fingers til Saturday afternoon at least. She can't postponed it because everybody agreed to come. Ayayay!!! any suggestions on how I can still swim and slide if ever???? A downside of being a woman! (sigh)

Few more days.....I can start enjoying my summer!!!

Family Meeting

We had an extended family meeting today after church. The siblings (on my mom's side) have to settle for a very important issue. The meeting went great. As for me,my bro, and my cousins, we really have nothing to say...we went there for food! hahahaha!!

I have a reason to watch tv tonight.. you wonder why? got a freaking solid A on my midterm last Thursday...Whoooohoooo to that! I am into some sort of negative reinforcer when it comes to studying. I try to stay away from the TV or to whatever pleases me leisure wise if I don't do good. Well, it's a reinforcer but I think it's more of a punishment. See, I am doing my psychology thingie on me huh! not that bad...

Unnoticed

Whoa! days have gone by so fast. It's weekend already!
Well, taking summer school is not that bad after all. It keeps myself busy which is good because I don't have to deal with so much crap of life... do you get what I mean?

San Antonio Spurs won the game 7 of the NBA championship last night. It's fun because I get to tease this guy who is a very very devoted Pistons fan. "Too bad, dude!" that's all I can say....

I've rented two DVD's : Hitch and Miss Congeniality 2. I think I'm gonna buy the Hitch DVD besides the fact that Will Smith is in there, I just like the plot of the story.. sooo awwww...AWWWW

Speaking of Holliwood...I'm sorry but I just hate the TOM CRUISE/KATIE HOLMES issue! and to think that they're already engaged! ARrgh...They're all over the TV, magazines, radio shows! I can throw a pound of tomatoes on my TV screen everytime I see them... Of course, I'm not going to do that though because that's gonna be a total mess...Nuff said!

Summer's officially here!

Summer solstice started Monday night...
Say hello to tanktops, shorts, minis, and flipflops...
Not to mention all the drinks and food associated with summer...just the thought of it makes me drool over Jamba Juice's

I'm not really a summery kinda person. I hate going outside when it's hot, meaning I don't wanna be toasted!...I guess most Filipinos are like that...While Caucasians are out there putting on sunblocks and lying under the sun, Filipinos are carrying this huge umbrellas and "pamaypay". I stand corrected: SOME Filipinos are like that especially the young at heart ones, if yah know what I mean. :)

Two more weeks and summer classes will be over. Deng! I have to spend my summer with a blast. I can't stay away from my the illusion of me having a nice strawberry daquiri under the coconut tree by the shore somewhere exotic...
Oh well, soon I'll be getting my blue passport so there's no more reason why I shouldn't be in Europe next year.

I had a job offer as a tutor. But it'll start this fall and I'll be getting 3 credits of that plus a teaching experience. I am thinking of applying as an instructor at one of the high schools here. I wanted to apply for a counselor but I have to get my MA in Psych first. That's just my plan while waiting for nursing school. I have so many things-to-do for September and I hope I will be able to cross all of it on my list by December.

I've got to bounce...coz I'll be checking out all the hotties at the gym! hahahaha.. Seriously, I'm not really into Egots by men! they're the one who are sooooooo freaking hot!...Got to put some gas, too! My gas light will be blinking soon... Later!

SALE SALE SALE

I go crazy everytime Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works have their semi annual sale.
I already did my shopping two weeks ago at Bath and Body... I am satisfied...

After my last class, I rushed through the nearest mall...What for??? VS's semi annual sale!...and today is the first day!... I bet all VS's stores are packed with people...I'm right. I got there around 12:30 at noon...I just can't control myself... I think those people who were there, too are motivating me to keep on digging!....I am so unstoppable...As if there's no more next day...

I spent less than 200 bucks for lingerie and their garden scents.....I am still in euphoria right now...I am a stingy person but I can't believe I spent that much in one day, in one store, in 30 minutes!...What a stress releaser!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my Dad!!!! I love you!

I thought I can manage to split myself in three last Friday.. but I guess that's not possible huh?
I am supposed to attend a farewell party at one of my friend's place which is like 45 minutes away from San Diego. I was at work and I thought I can get off at 1 PM, got to my friend's party, drive back to San Diego just in time for my brother's graduation. Guess what? I was only able to do two! I felt bad I didn't go to my friend's, I called them though to let them know that I won't make it no more. She'll be moving to Florida with her family...
I didn't make it because around 12:30 PM, a bus came in to the store....and of course, imagine how busy it was...the store was stormed by so many gradeschoolers! Ayayay!...
I went home at 3 PM, took a quick shower and headed to my bro's graduation...'twas nice though it was kinda sunny!....he finally graduated high school...

I'm so happy! Frankie J's CD is now available at Target! Of course, I bought it because of the song "How to Deal"...Imagine me with a big smile on my face having the CD on repeat mode... how cool is that?
I also bought my 4th of July shirt which says "I (heart) USA"...great deal only 5 bucks!
I can't believe I can still shop for myself...learning the way to stretch a dollar was not that bad after all! :)

3. How to Deal - spurt of the moment song...yah know what I mean? it's when you hear a newly released song and you don't get tired listening to it for weeks...

June Gloom

The weather is still gloomy... I wonder when can I see the sun???
I'm not complaining coz for me, this is the perfect weather! not too cold, not too hot!
My friend and I talked for hours last night planning about our trip... I hope this one is for reals...She's been trying to get a hold of the cheapest plane ticket available. If ever we'll save at least 200 bucks then we might also drop by at Hong Kong. Still, I'm not putting my hopes up, I might jinxed it! hehehehe

Finally, I am feeling better.

My day isn't complete if I will not hear Frankie J's song "How to Deal". The song that took over "My Boo". I know for sure that the song will be played in my fave station at 3 PM everyday or is it just a coincidence??? It's been three days straight that they play the song at 3. That song is my booster!

Father's Day is coming up.. I don't know what to give my dad...
My brother's graduating on Friday, too...Hmmm... Am I obliged to give him a gift??? :p

Another amazing dream

My sister-in-law and her mom went here for a visit. I prepared them a nice dinner... Yes, I've been practicing my culinary expertise lately. I baked and broiled salmon fillet, cooked pinakbet (my speacialty being 50% Ilocano blood), spinach soup, and lychee/agar juice for dessert. I didn't have enough time to plan for the meal because she just told me early this morning that they're gonna drop by. Anyways, my nephew is getting bigger! He's so cute and he giggles a lot like his auntie/ninang. Chubby chubby cheeks...errr..I could bite them! hahaha...

I bought him one big box of diapers and a box of baby wipes...Oh men! I buying stuff for my nephew...

Michael Jackson is a free man! The verdict of the jury was NOT GUILTY! I was at the gym when I saw the live reading of his verdict. His fans were so happy and they were cheering when he walked out of the court. I thought he's gonna be convicted of that child molestation thingie since all reports released by the media were against him (I believe).

You might be wondering about the title of today's entry.. It's just that I had another amazing dream last night... Don't laugh! It was nice like a trip to Bahamas! hahahaha! I dreamt of Brad Pitt... He and I were kissing!!!! It was so awesome!...Too bad, it was just a dream...I saw him wearing his boxer shorts on a movie clip from Mr and Mrs Smith before I went to bed which might be the cause of an extraordinary dream..He's so hot! (Anybody seen Troy???, heck he's even hotter there!)

5.6 Earthquake

We experienced a 5.6 earthquake earlier today....prolly around 9 AM... I've been learning a lot of stuff about Natural Disasters since I've been taking a course about it this summer session... I can say PRETTY INTERESTING...California is probe to earthquake because it is located in the middle of two plate tectonics... See what a term huh??? At least I'm proud that I've been learning so much in that class.

Finally, the book that I ordered from Amazon.com arrived last Saturday... Gees, it took two weeks to have it delivered...I saved a lot of money from buying there than in our school bookstore. Good thing my professor is not bookish that I have to read the book in order to pass a test. I had two tests last week in which I got B+ on both. I will still try to do my best to get A's on those classes since I already had the clue on how each professor organizes his tests.

Four more weeks baby! and I can now fully enjoy my summer vacation! In addition, I estimated that my interview date for my citizenship will be 4 months from now, but I received a letter from INS stating the date for my interview. It'll be a month and two weeks from now!...I am so thankful that the schedule is so perfect!... I have to school, and it's gonna be after my birthday! Wow!...I can finally vote for our new mayor! hahahaha!!!

The pain is still killing me.. I browsed through the internet to look for possible solution to ease my pain, and all they state is the the same this as what my DA told me, take ibuprofen or acetaminophen (spelling?)....It was also told that it'll take prolly 5 days to a week for the pain to be gone...OMG!

Anyways, the only thing that keeps me going right now about this issue is the compliments I've been getting....Heck, I don't care if they're just being nice or what, I need it like a medicine...

I am so missing having a hearty meal... :(

Ssshhh... girls talk???

I went to see my orthodontist yesterday.... Good news! I don't have to worry about my wisdom teeth as of this moment...Thank God, I told her how scared I am to go through all the drillings. After my consultation, she told me that I can get my braces done that same day.

That's not the end of my story....the process of putting braces on was the most uncomfortable feeling I felt so far in my entire life! Dang! I mean it!...
I've been through uncomfortable feelings before, physically speaking... The first time I had my eyebrows waxed, anybody??? who can relate??? Da heck! I thought that the most painful thing I will ever do!...But after a while, you get used to it... I guess it's because all my skin cells in that area has been dead for quite a while now, huh? hahaha! just kidding....

Then, the first time I wore a thong...If you're a guy reading this, too bad, you can't relate....It was uncomfortable, too! right girls??? but after a while, you'll get use to it...

This time, this freaking braces are killing me!!! I can't chew, I can't bite! I can't even open my mouth that wide!...Hahaha.... wow that rhymes..I feel like this is a punishment for me coz I've been looking for stuff that will help me lose some weight, instead of taking the high road!....I hope this pain, won't last for quite sometime...
Anyways, as what my eyebrow plucker/waxer keeps on telling me.... if you want to look good, no pain, no gain!

I just finished taking my first test on Natural Disasters...one of my classmates came in drunk! can you imagine that???? He also finished his test first! You know how I hate dentists right?

So yesterday, I went to see my dentist for cleaning. I was lying down while waiting for my dentist. I am all geared up ready for all the splish and splash whatever that involves cleaning. There came the dentist telling me that she will pull my wisdom teeth!!!! OMG! I haven't scheduled for that yet because I'm scared! I immediately stood up from the chair and told her, "Oh no, I am here for my deep cleaning!" My heartbeat went crazy after hearing the words wisdom teeth!....She then apologized and told me that I have to schedule for the extraction soon.

Yeah right! Soon your face! I will have to think about that...

I will see my orthodontist on Thursday and from then, I will decide when am I going to have my wisdom teeth extracted. Ayayay!!! The thought of all the drilling that will happen makes me nauseated! I don't think I can drive after my teeth surgery...Holy Molly!
Anybody here experienced tooth extraction yet????
Gees, I'm sorry to sound like a whimp but I really hate dentists and I haven't had any kind of extraction or whatsoever eversince I had my permanent teeth. I've always been an outstanding teeth caretaker just to avoid any extraction. The heck!

Alright, enough of the whining....I just hate seeing Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes....Arrgh....they've been acting like silly teenagers... is that how people act when they're inlove??? how stupid!

Well, I guess asking for a leave of absence is actually indirectly saying "I'm quitting". I'll try to find a job for prolly a couple of weeks then I'm gonna see where I'm gonna end up working after two weeks. Something happened that I can't tolerate anymore. Oh well, I need to rest anyways and hoping that my FA this summer session will be enough to support me til I get another job.

I knew she's gonna win after she answered her question. She was the only one who got in the final 5 that represented North America. It seems like all four spots were taken by Latin beauties. On the other hand, Ms. Philippines won Ms. Photogenic award...I wonder why? No offense but it seems like the Philippines has been winning that title a lot these past years. I have nothing against her winning the title but I hope that the people who vote in the internet represents the whole world and not just a particular piece of land, if you know what I mean. I bet if that's the case, Filipinos should be really proud of her!

Oh well, I can talk about beauty pageants for life coz I've been really into it since I was 12. My guess of who will win is 99% right most of the time.
