Happy Memorial Day!

Did everybody had a goodtime with the long holiday weekend?

We had our yearly church picnic at Poway Lake. The weather was just perfect!!! We had different kinds of grilled stuff: pork, beef, chicken, mussels, hotdogs, and corn. I enjoyed throwing water balloons at everybody!...Yeah, I'm the mastermind! I am planning to get a full blast water gun so I can bring it at the upcoming family camp. I'm telling you, I am into playing with water...

The guy I am hoping to be THE ONE wasn't there...but you know what, it seems like all my churchmates are setting me up with guys...I don't know what's happening in the world but they're so into me hooking up with guys!...
There was this guy today that they introduced to me. Okay now, you can say straight to my face that probably I'm picky. The truth is, he's not my type...so there will be no dates...and I guess that it was very clear to them that I am not interested in getting to know more about him. Sad huh? but that's the way it is....

Seriously, I am not really good at meeting guys for dating purposes. I can pretty much deal with anybody when there isn't any idea for some romance, especially if it's a stranger! I am just shy and the real me just fades away in a second. What the heck is wrong with me????

Soon to be Official

I'm feeling better now...Thank God... I still have a sore throat but I can definitely bare the pain...

Did you remember the time when you were in your "teens", in high school in particular, especially when you're a girl? Your parents won't allow you to date and they are so like guard dogs everytime they see a guy flapping his wings around you? The time when they sometimes sneeks in your room, checks your notebooks or books for any letter of some sort? Asks you where you're going, with whom? When they interrogate you big time after a friend's birthday party? Those were the days....I remember my mom one time, she was soooo eeeevvveeee's dropping when this guy came to visit me at our house. After the so called visit, she and my dad showered me with all those advices about boys, and that I have to finish school then I can get myself a boyfriend. I am proud to say that I am really a very very good daughter to them and they can say nothing about me. I'm happy that I listened to them and didn't take guys seriously (hahaha)....

I'll be turning 25 soon!...yeah...getting matured but totally young at heart! Hahahaha! I will be officially allowed to date! can you believe that???? My "hold your feelings" attitude will be released in the world soon...

After our church service, my dad and I were standing outside chillin'. Then came this guy (my aunt's dad, not related to us though if you know what I mean). I never thought that my dad will say anything like this...He told this guy to ask his son to do the moves on me!... OMG! He was playing cupid...This guy, who when I was a young girl won't allow any guys around me suddenly saying those words!!! It was a good joke...that's all I can say...enough said...there's still a lot of exchanging words and questioning but I'm just gonna leave it all to myself....

Moreover, my mom is also trying to find me a date!...Gees!!!
what is up with these people huh?????

As for me, I want to be "in love" with someone I already know rather than some random guy I barely knew. This is just my wish...But if I find the love I'm looking for in a stranger, prolly that is meant to be...

It sucks!

I've been sick since Wednesday night.... I have fever, sore throat/tonsilitis!...Waahhh... how am I gonna enjoy the long weekend???

Dental Check-up

I went to my dentist today and heck! I've been thinking of switching to another dentist...Their service is so bad!!! I mean it... My scheduled appointment was at 3:30 and I end up going home at 5PM... can you imagine how long it took for me to get their attention??? just for a freaking check-up and some consultation...

Oh well, as usual they bother recommending extracting my wisdom teeth. I might go for it this summer but I am worried that I will look like chipmunk for weeks. I'll be spending $500 for all three...there goes my shopping money! aarrgh!

On the bright side, I didn't know that there's a cute DA working there..what a cutie!!!...*teehee*

When you least expect...

I'm tired from work...but when I got home, I took a very relaxing shower, enough to make my day...
I turned on my computer and checked my emails...
I've been awarded with Summer financial aid which is really great coz I've been having second thoughts about going to to summer school.
Morever, I also received a nice email from a friend...I find it sweet and sincere... and yah know, that touched my heart...

On the contrary, I only got a B+ on one of my classes. I thought I'll be acing all my classes this semester but I guess I'm wrong...Gees, I missed tasting a 4.0 GPA. Oh well...

Well, that's how my day went...

I was wrong...I actually had fun last night in my class. Darn it! I never thought that it'll be great and awesome...Save the best for last huh?

Dr. Carter left... yes! I am talking about ER's season finale last night. After 11 years...I remember him from the very first season with George Clooney...It's sad but at least Abby is still there! hahaha!!! I wanna be like her...(yeah, in my dreams!)

I'm so dead tired...

Tonight's gonna be the last lecture day for my Learning class at the community college. I really can't wait til next week to take the finals and tell myself that that class is actually over!.. You know how I don't enjoy that class... it's the professor and my classmates...I am so regretful when I took that freaking class in exchange for an old professor at SDSU... karma... :p

I have to go out this weekend since this is gonna be my last weekend before the Summer semester starts. My friends and I are planning to attend the graduation party of one of our schoolmates. Oh well...

I talked to my bestfriend last night and she made me realize one thing : Feelings mutate...

Deng! Star Wars fanatic are all lining up since last night! can you imagine that?
I can't believe that they're camping outside of the movie theaters....

Tiring Monday

Someone broke into the store early this morning...I though cops will be hanging out for a while to do some investigation but I guess "some people" prefered to just be quiet and do their own thingie...
I still have no clue what in the world happen but I am very sure that the franchise owner of the store won't be very happy...I've been interrogated by my superiors earlier, too...Oh well..this day is one of those days... if you know what I mean...

I'll be getting another fone exclusively for international use...I am so aware that my friends from the Philippines are so stingy that they send me text messages once in a blue moon! (hehehe)...with this fone they can text me for only 1 peso... cool huh? I have no freaking clue how it works but who cares right... as long as I can bother my friends 24/7.

I have one final tomorrow and I better have my butt out of the computer in 5 minutes...

Oh yeah! I feel so relaxed today. I didn't have work so I woke up so late which pleased me so much.
After eating my brunch, I went to the gym to burn it. Golly! it's hard to lose weight...I badly need motivation to keep me going. Then I stopped by at Kinko's to make some copies for my lesson tomorrow in Sunday School. When I got home, I popped the Memento VHS to have a second look. I am still confused so I decided to google search it online. Luckily, I was able to find analysis about the said movie. I am still gonna see it for the third time though to prove my claims. Hehehe...critical thinking has been my favorite thing lately, it's very challenging.

The heck! I stayed til 10 PM in class today because of that freaking movie!...the class is supposed to end at 9:30. But men! I'm telling you, this professor don't let his students out for even 5 minutes early! That sucks so bad!...We talked about memory in which according to my professor, don't exist.
Can someone please explain the movie to me.. it's gonna be on our finals so I really have to focus.
I'm gonna rent it and hopefully get the meaning...Am I a psychologist or what? :p

Speaking of that professor, I'm gonna complain about him big time at ratemyprofessor.com! Hmpf!

Slacking off Hoowee!!!

I did my superwoman thingie last weekend.. I finished all of my papers!!! the downside though was THE HEADACHE...
Anyways, I've been bothering my friend Lien because she's all stressed out with her papers and I've been asking her to see a movie...I'm such a bully huh? I tried to tell her though to finish our paper together last weekend but she never did...

I am going through some financial tightness lately. I can't believe that I've touched my savings account!!! Waaahhh!!!
Usually, I can stretched out my paycheck but this month, it was never enough. I feel so bad that I took some money from my savings. :(
I've been cutting my hours from work because of the load that I have to finish in school. Then besides that, I have to freaking have my car check. It's not that is broken or anything, it's about like a car check-up. They found out that I have to change my brake pads. So I went to the Saturn shop yesterday to have my brakes changed and oil change. The heck! Guess how much I spent? less that $200. I also have to pay the premium for my car insurance! For those people who drive, you know what I mean right? Ayayay!!!

On the bright side, I was able to get some money by selling back all my textbooks. At least, I have enough to pay for my gas and some other expenses aside from my monthly bills.

Now, I'm on the edge of dropping summer school in exchange for working full time. I have my special reason why I am so into saving some money...coz you know.. I have plans (I hope this time, this one is for reals!)

Happy Mother's Day

To all the mother's out there.. especially to my mom... HAPPY MOTHER's DAY!!!!

I am trying to be a Supergirl this weekend... so bare with me if I don't make sense because actually, my mind right now is in chaos trying to put up with a 4 page paper, a 6-page comprehensive project, and another 4-page educational plan.

It's not that I'm procrastinating but I want to be ahead of the game...

My brother's leaving

Yeah.. he's gonna be on West Pac...and he's gonna be gone for 6 months...He'll be leaving on Saturday morning at 6 AM. I don't know if I'm gonna miss him because he's not living with us for quite a while now coz he's in the Navy. But maybe.. hehehehe...

I'm falling in love with my professor...he's been my favorite...I am so doing good in his class. Actually, I'll be taking summer classes because he's gonna be teaching neuropsychology and I already told him that I would love to register for all his classes. One of the reinforcement why I want to pursue Psych with the emphasis on neuropsychology so that he would be my mentor...I received a letter today from Maric College asking if I still wanted to attend the next RN class that will be on the 25th of July. I decided to finish and get my BA next year on Psychology then just go for RN afterwards. BTW, I am not falling in love with him romantically he's just so nice to look at. He's only 33 and darn it! he's married! Ay!

Psychological Defect

Gees...I'm not complaining of anything...on one of my Psych class, we are required to get a hundred samples and have to weigh their backpacks...interesting huh? I was assigned to bring the scale. My groupmates and I walked around the campus carrying a weighing scale...It's so embarassing... but hey! I had fun... I get to pick the guys for bag weighing... And of course, talk a bit and stuff...So cool!!!
Remember, one of my NYR for this year is to learn how to flirt? hehehehe... I met this girl who is an expert when it comes to flirting. Her tips are really working...I tried it the other day, dang! it definitely works. I'm still a newbie though...:p

All these Psych classes are keeping me busy. Aside from that project I mentioned earlier, I still have CV's and ESP due next week. With the help of Java Chip from Starbucks, I am now ahead of the game...

Summer is almost here but it still feels chilly.

Mother's Day is on Sunday. I am so broke because I have to register for summer classes. I will spend 1000 bucks for tuition...Ayayay...I will just give my Mom the best daughter hug in the world!

I am so happy that I finally found a copy of the GIMIK the movie VCD at Divisoria.com. You will never imagine how excited I am to wait for it in the mail. Those were the days when I go crazy over GIMIK. And for those peeps who has no idea or whatsoever, I love Rico Yan! May he rest in peace...
I also bought another VCD with him and Judy Ann (not a Juday fan though)...
For my upcoming paychecks, I'll be starting to collect Regine's movie.
